This was a six month placement towards my Masters in Computing conversion degree.

I was solely responsible for collecting requirements, specifying and developing several systems for use in the costing department.

• I wrote a guide to Framework for use in the department.
• I developed a cost-estimation system using Framework spreadsheet linking, coding extensively in Fred.
• I developed systems to produce management information reports.
• I was responsible for writing a production reporting system in dBASE III that took a feed from the production database, summarised the data into weekly totals, and I set up standard graphs in DGraph for use with the summary database.

I provided all the documentation and end-user support.
