Brown and blue lariat necklace with boro lampwork

Description

This is a very elegant glass lariat necklace of bronze and blue.

This necklace is made from glass: handmade lustered beads (brown),vibrant glass beads with an inner lining of real silver (cobalt blue and bronze),matte bronze glass pearls, faceted fire-polished glass (amber) and faceted opaque black glass. These main beads are separated by tiny glass beads in metallic greens, blues and purples.

The central blue section features a large handmade boro lampwork bead by Brendan Blake called Wild Indigo. It has a cobalt blue core which is covered with pearly and opalescent 'petals'. I created this necklace around this beautiful bead to show off its colours.
